Head to the expansive Golden Gate Park after your Alcatraz Prison Tour to explore over 1000 acres of bike paths and gardens. You’ll pedal past the Conservatory of Flowers, Arboretum/Botanical Gardens, Shakespeare Garden and Japanese Tea Gardens before circling Stow Lake and Strawberry Hill. We’ll teach you some of the area’s rich history, including its ominous past of haunted ghost stories. On the western edge of the park, you’ll get to see the famous Ocean Beach, with its wild surf, long, oceanfront bike path and sweeping sand dunes. Then we’ll head back through the park for a final dose of greenery before the tour’s end.
